Plenty Coups Seminole:
Seminole is one of the stallions of choice for our Hancock program. He
was blue when we bought him and is gradually turning gray. No big
deal his color crop consists of grays, blue roans, bay roans, blacks,
and seal browns. We may not get blue all the time but what we do get
all the time are impeccable dispositions, bone, muscle, and looks.
Seminole is heavily foundation bred with three crosses to Blue
Valentine in his pedigree (about 18.75% to be exact). Seminole settles
all his mares and can be hand bred, pasture bred you can add or
remove mares and he has never injured a mare, foal, or person for
that matter. All his sons and daughters to date have been broke and
rode outside the round pen within hours! Mike Blackwell has gathered
cattle after just two weeks of riding a two year old! No Buck and No
Quit!
Plenty Coups Big Boy:
Badger is similar to Seminole when it comes to breeding disposition
and how he stamps his colts. In fact when we run the weanlings
together it is real difficult to tell who the sire is. Badger is 18.75% Blue
Valentine also, and has a shot of Grey Badger II in his pedigree which I
am sure contributes to his durability and untiring nature. There is no
quit in this boy. Badger is highly foundation bred and is 20.31% Joe
Hancock. He is definitely cleaner looking than Red Man but he sure
resembles Joe Hancock’s best son (with ears). His 09 foal crop is
outstanding and 100% color! Cecil Lake started a daughter of
Badger's and liked her so much he bugged me until I sold her to him!
JD's Streakin:
JD comes from the Waggoner Ranch in Electra Texas - SI 87- 6
starts-0-2-0 Racing ROM. He is a grandson of the great Dash for Cash
on the top and a grandson of Streakin Six on the Bottom. JD is
already a 3D barrel racer in spite of very limited exposure. He is big
and powerful with striking good looks. Cindy Masters of Wichita Falls,
Texas started him on barrels and really likes him. She told us he
moves like a little horse, and she wasn't kidding. He is explosive and
fast and he gets his butt underneath him and turns on a dime. He is a
super athlete for being 16-2 and tipping the scales at 1300 lbs. He
also has a disposition that is wonderful and he fits nicely into our
program. You will hear more about him in the near future!
French’s Frosty Cream:
PC has exceptional performance lines with Sun Frost, Frenchman’s
Sox, and Laughing Boy. Just off the papers is Rebel Cause, John
Red, Leo, Truly Truckle, Lightening Bar, and Tonto Bars Hank. That is
a pretty good line up for this 100% color producer. PC’s greatest
attribute is his disposition. I never dreamed we would get another
stallion with the disposition we have been so fortunate to acquire with
our other three, but I would have to say his is one of the best. His colts
have it too. He is real smooth moving in the pasture and we can't wait
to ride him.
