Blitz (deceased) was a really good mare.
We sure miss her. She twisted a gut and we
had to put her down when Comet was about
a month old. Chuck had to be his mom and
dad. Taught him all about life and how to eat
cattle. Chuck likes them with the hair off and
medium rare. Her colts are powerful, fast,
smart, and real cow eaters. We had her
bred to two different studs and both the colts
(Doc and Comet) would really get after the
cows. They were never afraid of them and
they like them hair on and still mooing. We
hope to find another paint mare like her
someday.
